The UK Earthquake
At about 12:55 AM today, the house began to shake. It probably lasted for about 10 -15 2 seconds, although at the time it seemed like longer. I’ve been listening to Hallam FM, and it seems to be lots of people affected by the tremor, ranging from the whole of Yorkshire to Nottinghamshire and Suffolk. I’ve also heard that the earthquake was between 4.3 to 5.2 on the richter scale (depending where you are), and i’ve found a weird website that documents it here, although i’m not sure if it’s reliable or not. There’s also a PDF document here. Nothing weird has happened like this since that flooding, and perhaps a really minor tremor that occurred ages ago that was something to do with a mine. I’m very tired. Damn earth tremors.
