I [heart] Last.fm
I’ve just gotten into Last.fm (as you can see in my sidebar) and I’m enjoying the site. I couldn’t be arsed with the full program to monitor what music I had listened to, so I downloaded the “outdated” (so their site says) plugin for Windows Media Player instead. So far I’m impressed with it - It regularly uploads my song information with no problems at all. I don’t see anything outdated about it.
I’m currently using the “Run for Cover” beta widget in my sidebar. It’s ace, and displays the covers to my recently listened to tracks. I hope the author doesn’t mind that I messed around with the padding and added a link to my Last.fm profile under the widget.

Leave a commentHi Alan, I don’t mind :-) More than that, I’ve listened to your remarks and changed my code so that it produces XHTML now. Also, the searching for images has been improved. If you want to try it out, you can find it under its new name Last.Fm records at

Greetings from the Netherlands!
Hi,
I’ve upgraded to the new plugin and I love the speed of it! The only thing I can find wrong with it is that you removed the “Image links to” bit :(
I absolutely love the Album art with text though - and the way the images are processed through php so they are just the right size :).
Thanks!
Thanks for trying it out — the ‘image links to’ setting will return in the near future.
Because of me? That’s cool.
Thanks, I like the images pointing to Amazon or opening in lightbox, no offense to last.fm :]
